OVERVIEW

The U.S. Air Force and Eglin Properties, LLC have formed a partnership to design, develop, finance, and construct the Emerald Coast Technology and Research Center at the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. The proposed corporate campus, located on a 98-acre parcel of undeveloped land at Eglin Air Force Base (remove ,) will include extended stay hospitality, a conference facility with accompanying lodging, two restaurant pad sites, a supporting residence hall for an education center operated by the University of Florida, four office buildings, six office flex buildings, five research and development testing/laboratory buildings, and a daycare facility.
The campus will be anchored by the Research Engineering and Educational Facility (REEF), owned and operated by the University of Florida. The REEF is funded by the US Air Force to perform research in support for programs at Eglin Air Force Base such as the development of J35 Raptor Fighter Jet program.
Eglin Properties, LLC is a joint venture between Hunt Development Group and Dick Corporation of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
