EL PASO, TX – (DATE) – Hunt Communities, LLC has announced the promotion of Michael S. Viramontes to the position of Vice President, responsible for the company’s construction activities. The announcement was made by Doug Wright, President of Hunt Communities.

Prior to his affiliation with Hunt Communities, Viramontes was a key member of the Hunt Building Company team for 17 years, where he served as a Senior Estimator and as a Project Manager. He joined the Hunt organization following eight years of construction experience with firms in New Mexico, including Lockheed Engineering & Management Services Co., Highland Enterprises, Countryplex Development Co., Doña Ana County Engineering Department, and Cervantes & Associates. He began his career as Detailer/Estimator at Modern Iron Works in El Paso. Viramontes received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering Technology from New Mexico State University in 1984.

“Mike Viramontes is a valuable member of the Hunt team through his broad range of construction experience. He has worked as Project Engineer and Project Manager on numerous Hunt military projects for the Army, Navy, and the Air Force, as well as on private Hunt projects. He has accepted assignments for our firm in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Washington, D.C., and Honolulu, Hawaii,” said Wright. He added, “Mike has gained extensive professional expertise through working on various key projects for Hunt. He is well educated and his extensive background and knowledge are extremely beneficial to us at Hunt Communities.
