ALBUQUERQUE, NEW MEXICO – Hunt Development Group is pleased to announce the addition of Ann Taylor, Anthropologie, Fidelity Investments, L’Occitane, MAC Cosmetics, McAllister’s Deli, Pink Leash Boutique and Sleep Number by Select Comfort as new tenants at ABQ Uptown. With their upcoming opening at ABQ Uptown, Anthropologie, L’Occitane, McAllister’s Deli, and locally-owned, Pink Leash Boutique, will be making their debut in New Mexico. MAC Cosmetics’ products have been available at department stores in New Mexico, but their new store at ABQ Uptown will be their first independent store in the state.

“We’re very excited about this group of stores at ABQ Uptown,” said Josh Hunt, Vice President, Hunt Development Group. “They are the perfect addition to the current tenant roster at ABQ Uptown.”

Fidelity Investments opened their doors for business on August 6th and Ann Taylor and MAC Cosmetics followed with grand openings on September 11thand 13th respectively. The next stores to open will be L’Occitane and Sleep Number by Select Comfort with openings scheduled for early October and Anthropologie and Pink Leash Boutique are set to open in mid-November.

In addition to the confirmed stores, Hunt is currently in negotiations with other national retail stores and restaurants that will be making their New Mexico debut at ABQ Uptown. Additionally, ABQ Uptown is looking for New Mexico retail stores to join the Uptown family. There are still a few retail spaces available for lease in Phase 1 with additional opportunities in Phase 3. Companies interested in leasing information about ABQ Uptown can call John Sedberry with Sedberry & Associates at (505) 855-7650.

Located in the heart of the city’s retail district on the corner of Louisiana and Indian School, the development, billed as “A Unique Urban Community”, is destined to become Albuquerque’s newest live-work-play hub, complete with current and future retail space, residential units, restaurants, entertainment venues, and a hotel.

The next phase of the project has recently commenced and will consist of 198 urban loft apartments. Plans for phase three of the project include a hotel, for sale condominium units, and additional retail spaces. A central main street will link up the residential, retail, and hotel space that will be completed in phase three of the project, creating a unique community and lifestyle destination.
